Holistic Health Massage

Take your body and mind for a complete overhaul service!

This is a very deep and therapeutic treatment that benefits the mind and body relationship creating harmony and balance.   Aromatherapy oils and special ayurvedic oils are used to massage the body from head to toe.  The initial consultation determines which combination of therapies is used.  They can be deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage, Indian head massage, with acupressure for specific parts of the body.  The session ends with chakra balancing and nutritional, herbal and therapeutic follow-up care advice for you to implement in your life.

Deep Tissue Massage

This massage is aimed at eliminating toxins and acidity that are trapped in the body due to over exertion, digestion problems created by bad diet, or when you are recovering from long term illness or experiencing exhaustion, general apathy and malaise.  The oils used are mood lifting and they aid gentle detoxification. The session ends with energy balancing and healing.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

This is a manual lymphatic drainage.  It is a gentle massage though it can be a little uncomfortable as it is aimed at reducing oedema (water retention) by encouraging the activation of the liver and moving the lymphatic fluid in the body.  This massage redresses the balance of body fluids.  A specific blend of oils is used to support the liver and lungs to aid elimination of toxins.  The session ends with energy balancing and after-care advice.  

 

Indian Head Massage

A real Indian head massage which includes massaging the neck, shoulders, throat and upper chest area with acupressure as well, used with a blend of ayurvedic and aromatherapy oils.  It is a very thorough and deep massage, which has a mind-set transformational effect on attitude.  (Great for teenagers too!) It is a wonderful treatment to clear the head if you are confused, have a problem making decisions, have a head cold or flu, feel depressed or generally apathetic, suffer from mood swings or have some hormonal imbalance.  Acupressure and massage techniques are used with an ayurvedic blend of oils.  The effect is really mid-blowing.  The session ends with chakra balancing.

Body Scan and Chakra Balancing

This is a special self-discovery therapeutic and healing treatments, which enables you and the therapist to see beyond the physical symptoms and ascertain the message the body and mind are trying to communicate.  The body scan system empowers you to find the solutions to the physical dysfunction and discomfort the seed of which maybe unresolved internal mental and emotional issues.  You can then create a formula that helps you to heal holistically.  Imbalance in the function of the chakras (energy centres) affects you, the whole well-being.  Chakra balancing redresses the performance of each chakra and creates a balanced and harmonious relationship between them which in turn gives momentum to the healing process.

Hydrotherapy and Peat Wrap

This is a dynamic therapeutic process, which helps to alleviate pain and discomfort as well as redress mineral deficiency imbalance.  The first part aids the activation of organs wherever needed.  The hydrotherapy session is individually programmed to aid the function of the liver and the kidneys or lungs, spleen and heart, or the spine and head.  The peat is then applied to target specific areas of the body, or all over the body and wrapped in warmth to activate and support the organs and absorption of minerals and nutrients that promote both the elimination and healing process.

Peat Bath

This treatment includes an initial consultation to determine the process of the treatment.  The peat bath is prepared at specific temperature to warm, soothe and relax the body.  The treatment includes raising and maintaining certain temperature throughout the soak, which can take up to 20 minutes depending on how the body responds.  After the bath the body is wrapped and kept warm for at least fifteen minutes allowing it to rest and recuperate.
